FIVE GUELPH PLAYERS CHOSEN TO 2009 WESTERN REGION AAA ALL STAR TEAM
The Guelph Ringette Association would like to congratulate Jodie Hastings, Lisa Tyldesley, Nicole Robinson, Danielle Kelton and Hilary Key on their selection to the Western Region AAA Team. This team will be representing the Western Region at the upcoming Ontario Winter Games and is made up of the best players throughout the Western Region. All 5 girls are currently playing with the Belle AA team in Guelph and we wish them the best of luck for the upcoming season.
HOST OF THE 2009 TWEEN EASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP

UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH WINS CANADIAN UNIVERSITY CHALLENGE CUP
The Guelph Ringette Association would like to congratulate The University of Guelph Ringette Team for winning the Tier II division of the Canadian University Challenge Cup. The Tournament consisted of University teams from all over the country. This was the first year that a team from the University of Guelph has competed at this tournament. The team consists of a number of former GRA players including Becky Jamieson, Allyson O'Grady and Emily Mountjoy. As well a special congratulations to our own powerskating instructor Hayley Backewich who was second in scoring for the tournament.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE RECEIPIENTS OF THE NEW 2005/2006 GUELPH RECOGNITION AWARD
At our Annual General Meeting the Guelph Ringette Association presented for the first time an Award of Recognition to those within the
Association that have gone that extra step to help better Ringette in the City of Guelph. Without the help of all those people that volunteer throughout the year the GRA would
not be as great of an organization as it is today. Thank you to all those that give of their time during the year. A very special thank you to this year's Award Winners Rhonda
