Guelph Ringette Association Recognition Awards

The GRA would not be what it is today without the tireless efforts of our volunteers. We thank everyone ... past, present and future ... for the commitment and dedication that you give to the GRA and to the sport of Ringette in the City of Guelph.

Each year at our Annual General Meeting the Guelph Ringette Association presents the Award of Recognition to those within the Association that have gone that extra step. The following are recipients of this award:

Each year the Ontario Ringette Association (ORA) honours those persons and organizations that have given a significant amount of time and effort for the betterment of the sport of Ringette around the province. Team Ontario Ringette (offered every four years)

Alternating between summer and winter, the Canada Games are a key event in the development of Canada's young athletes. As the best in their age group, these young competitors come to the Games to represent their province or territory and compete for the Canada Games Flag and Centennial Cup. Ringette has been part of the Canada Winter Games since 1991.

The players, all under 19 years of age, make up 6 regional All-Star teams and represent the best from Ringette associations across Ontario to participate in the Ontario Winter Games.
