FOR GOALIES ONLY!
Guelph Ringette is hosting a spring Ringette clinic just for goalies - to brush-up on or improve their skills before team tryouts begin.
Date: Saturday April 26, 2014
Time: 2:00-4:00 pm
Location: Hespler Arena, Cambridge, ON
Cost: around $20 per person
Halli Berry and Sam Gorgi have teamed up to deliver a fundamental two hour clinic of goalie techniques, drills, and tips that will help goalies reach that next level. Halli and Sam are native Guelph goalies who have competed at both the AA, AAA and national level. They have extensive experience and have attended top level goalie clinics for many years. This fast paced clinic has been designed for goalies of all ages/levels to provide the tools and knowledge that can develop and compliment individual goaltending styles.
Unique to other clinics, the first hour will be off ice, outlining certain warm-ups a goalie should do before a game. Small groups will be formed based on age and ability, so get ready for a hands-on workshop where you can practice a range of skills at each station.
There are a limited number of spots available (16) so please contact Halli to reserve yours.
2014 was an outstanding season for the Guelph U16AA and U19AA Ringette teams. After both teams went undefeated at Provincials earning gold, they went on to the Canadian Ringette Championship in Regina. Participating at a National level tests each and every part of the athlete - physically and mentally. This level of competition challenges individual skill as well as team strength - and in the world of Ringette, it doesn't get any better than this.

U12P - Tryouts will be held in September 2014.
Note: Provincial Petite (U12) will follow new guidelines established by the Ontario Ringette Association (ORA). Associations may host 'interest ice' or a 'sort out' during the spring, but will not form their team until after September 1st, 2014. This means that the Provincial Petite U12 teams should conclude their selection process by Wednesday September 21, 2014. During the summer months, Ringette Associations will not engage participants in this age level with activities that resemble a practice or try out. Guelph Ringette has decided that 'interest ice' is not required due to strong numbers within this age group and to help keep the costs down.
