Dear Business Owner

The Guelph Ringette Association (GRA) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1970. Now, the GRA is home to Ringette teams for children as young as four years old, all the way up to adult teams. Our programs begin with ‘Learn-to-Skate’ and extend to many regional and provincial teams.

What is Ringette?

Ringette, like hockey, is played on ice with skates and sticks. Each team consists of six players - two defenders, one center, two forwards, and a goalie - with the objective to score goals. But the resemblance to hockey ends here. The stick is straight. The object being pursued is a rubber ring, not a puck. Ringette has evolved into a fast paced, exciting game that combines the strategy of basketball with the fantastic speed and agility of skating. It is often referred to as 'the fastest game on ice'.

The GRA is grateful to receive support from local businesses. Without community sponsorship, the cost of participating would be out of reach for some families. As you may be aware, ice rental fees are continually rising, and we want to keep Ringette in Guelph an affordable sport. We want to keep kids active. For the current season, we are seeking sponsors and/or collecting contributions to help support and assist our association, athletes and teams with their costs.

We have a sponsorship package that suits many different size budgets, and we hope you will consider joining us as a GRA supporter. If sponsorship does not fit within your budget - we appreciate donations of any size including donated products that can be showcased at our silent auction.

Gold Sponsorship ($1000+)

•  Official team sponsor with company name as part of team’s name (i.e., SodroxU19AA)
•  Business name/logo on team banner and team webpage on GRA website and Face book page.
•  Business name/logo on the GRA website with a link to your website
•  Opportunity to provide company material (coupons etc.) in membership package given to all players.
•  Team picture ‘thank-you’ plaque at the end of the season.

Silver Sponsorship (Fee $600) 

• Official team sponsor with company name as part of team’s name
• Business name/logo on team banner and team webpage on GRA website and Facebook page.
• Business name/logo on the GRA website with a link to your website
• Team picture ‘thank-you’ plaque at the end of the season.

Bronze Sponsorship (Fee $350)

• Business name/logo on the GRA website with a link to your website and Facebook page.
• Team picture ‘thank-you’ plaque for your business.

If your business is not in the position to sponsor a team, please consider donating an item to our silent auction or making a contribution toward our tournament. We appreciate all donations.
